Fred Broussard Jr's Bio
Fred Broussard Jr comes from a family of racers and knew at an early age that he wanted to drive a stock car like his father, uncles and cousin had all done before him.
Fred started his racing debut in 1983 at the age of 18.
He also raced at other tracks such as Antigonish and entered demolition derbys taking home the "Most Exciting Driver" Award in 1984.
Over the next 7 years Fred would continue the family tradition by winning qualifiers, features and awards and in 1991 Fred finished 2nd in Points Standings then left the racing scene only to return in 2006 to compete in an Enduro race that made him want to compete once again.
So with the support of his family and friends, Fred returned to racing in 2007 and finished 4th in Points Standings and placed 7th in the "07" Street Stock Atlantic Championships.
In 2008 Fred finished 2nd in Points Standings and will be competing in the "08" Street Stock Atlantic Championships in October.
Fred Broussard Jr competed in the 2008 Atlantic Street Stock Championship and WON!!! and was also presented the racing spectator Driver Of The Year Award.
